Kandy > Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic after photographing from the garden in front, the Audience Hall, the Royal Palace (remains) from the road in front and the Sacred Tooth Relic proper, in the central courtyard, the Island in the lake and the bathing pavilion and any other places of interest. Take the Upper Lake drive for city views, Kandy Market for fruits, vegetable and people.
Leave for Nuwara Eliya via Gampola and Ramboda, on the way will be passing Tea plantations, factories, Tea Pluckers (Tell your Guide to speak to the Kangani and arrange few Pluckers for photographing the plucking of “two leaves & the bud” and for a close up as well, for which you have to pay everybody.) and waterfalls.
Stop at a Tea Factory to see and photograph the processing of tea. See Ramboda Falls (329 feet high) on the way, at Ramboda you will find 10 hair-pin bends and at a suitable location you can photograph 3 or 4 such bends and the road snaking up the hill with the plains below at a distance. At Nuwara Eliya see the houses similar to houses & mansions in England, same type of flowers and vegetables and walk in the Victoria Park & the Market where you can see local fruits, vegetables and flowers kept for sale.
