Usage of the material and content in the web site www.www.traveldesignbycdc.com is allowed only upon acceptance of these terms and conditions confirms that you are aged 18 or above and that you have read and understood the terms and conditions.

Booking Conditions

Travel Design by CDC under the care of Connaissance De Ceylan with official address “Le Cube, No: 130, High Level Road, Colombo 06, Sri Lanka”.

When creating goods and services to customers, Travel Design works with numerous suppliers for accommodation and excursions. Therefore in addition to the terms and conditions of Travel Design, terms and conditions of the suppliers will also apply.

The customers are held responsible for reading and understanding the terms and conditions of the suppliers which are available on request, by which you agree to, abide by the terms and conditions of suppliers with whom you elect to deal with. Any violations of suppliers’ terms and conditions will result in cancellation of your booking or reservation of purchase and, in your being denied access to any hotels, in your forfeiting any monies paid for such reservations or purchases, and Travel Design debiting your account for any costs we incur as a result of such violation. All charges, fees, duties, taxes and assessments arising from your actions whether or not it is done by someone else on your behalf, you will be completely responsible.

All content and packages on this web site are invitations for you to make an offer on the given terms and conditions and the content alone do not serve as an offer from our end. Our suppliers can either accept or decline such offers based on availability of services. No warranties, promises or representation are given in availability of such services.

All bookings/reservations made through the web site such as ground arrangements and accommodation arrangements are confirmed in full only once the full payment is made through credit card or bank transfer methods. In some scenarios an initial non-refundable deposit may be charged.

Booking Your Holiday

A booking is considered confirmed only after we receive a written confirmation via email and with a nonrefundable payment of 50% of the total ground handling charges which may be waived off solely at our discretion. For peak season from November to March for a tour to be confirmed, 100% payment needs to be made upfront.

Methods of Payment

We accept both VISA and Master credit cards for credit card payments and we also offer the customer to pay by bank transfer method. All payments needs to be settled in United State dollars (USD) and the service charge for credit cards will have to be borne by you and if using a bank transfer method, bank charges will have to be borne by you.

If the payments failed to be made on time, your tentative booking can be cancelled from our end and this will be informed to you via email.

Cancellation Policy

  • Between 41 and 60 days – forfeit of deposit
  • Between 30 and 40 days – 50% of total ground arrangement cost
  • Between 20 and 29 days – 75% of total ground arrangement cost
  • 19 or Less than 19 days – no refund of total ground arrangement cost
