Arrive at Colombo International Airport. Please clear immigration & visa formalities, collect your baggage and proceed to the arrival lounge through the green channel if you do not have goods to be declared to customs. At the arrival terminal you will be met by our Travel Design Team who will greet you and assist you to the air conditioned vehicle to begin the journey to the alluring hillside. Check in at the Tea Trails bungalow, known for its magnificent views of the tea plantation and virgin mountains. Arrive at the bungalow in time for lunch (Depending on the flight time).Spend the evening at leisure, dinner and overnight stay at Tea Trails,Hatton.

After breakfast at the bungalow, you will be met by the tea specialist who will take you through the step wise process of plucking tea, the process of making black tea and the grading process of tea. As interesting and educational it can be, tea is the most commonly used beverage in Sri Lanka that can help refresh yourself while sipping a cup of fresh Ceylon Tea.Dinner & overnight stay at Tea Trails, Hotton.

After breakfast at the bungalow, you will proceed further towards the country side where the old world charms of Nuwara Eliya similar to spring time in England. Nuwara Eliya was the hometown of the British where tea plantation was given priority. Today the culture of Nuwara Eliya is tea plantation, vegetation and farm lands where dairy production is the livelihood of the locals. Hindu culture and Catholicism is wide spread in the area and the hillside of Nuwara Eliya is well known for Horton Plains National Park and Moon Plains National Park, a latest addition to the list of attractions. A picnic by the Gregory Lake, enjoying a boat ride or canoeing at the lake is also possible together with a cycle ride or a pony ride to add to your excitement. Riding school of Premadasa also presents horse riding in the area which can be arranged.Dinner and overnight stay at the luxurious bungalow of Warwick Gardens.

Early morning, proceed to Horton Plains National Park with packed breakfast, for a walking trek of about 4 hours. Horton Plains National Park with 3160 hectares is known as “Mahaeliya”, was named Horton Plains after Sir Robert Horton, a British Governor from 1831-1837. Horton Plains which is a National Park of Sri Lanka and a UNESCO World Heritage Site has its unique watershed and bio-diversity values with a high level of endemism in terms of flora. Horton Plains is home for 52 species of resident birds and 11 species of migrant birds. One can also spot Sandbar, Bear Monkey, Leopard, Barking Deer, Giant Squirrel, Fishing Cat, Wild Boar and Hares roam in the forests and grasslands but mostly Sandbar can be seen in the evening and morning. Being the only national park that allows guests to enjoy a walking trek, it also houses Baker’s fall and the magnificent view of the World’s End.Spend the evening at leisure by the bungalow of Warwick Gardens, dinner and overnight stay at the bungalow.

After a mouth-watering breakfast at the bungalow, check out and proceed to Kandy, the last capital of Sri Lanka. Blessed by a cool yet calm and soothing climate, Kandy is famous for its natural beauty and landscapes. Arrive at the Kandy city where the old charms of Kandy is yet to be witnessed and is also named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a visit to Temple of the Tooth Relic, believed to be the home of the Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha (optional).
Evening spend the time at leisure at the bungalow; enjoy a swim by the pool overlooking the magical scenery and greenery of the bungalow. Overnight stay at the bungalow.

Enjoy your excursion to the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, which remains one of the best planned archaeological relic sites in the country, a standing testimony to the discipline and greatness of the Kingdom’s first rulers. The ancient city of Polonnaruwa has been declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO. You also have the option to enjoy Polonnaruwa by Cycle that can add to your excitement.
Afternoon visit Minneriya National Park and do a jeep safari in Minneriya. Located between Habarana and Polonnaruwa, the 8,890 hectares of Minneriya National Park consists of mixed evergreen forest and scrub areas and is home to favorites such as sambar deer, leopards and elephants. However the central feature of the park is the ancient Minneriya Tank (built in 3rd century AD by King Mahasena). During the dry season (June to September), this tank is an incredible place to observe the elephants who come to bathe and graze, as well as the flocks of birds (cormorants and painted storks to name but a few) that come to fish in the shallow waters.Dinner and overnight stay will be in Sigiriya.

After breakfast at the hotel, the day is free to enjoy and experience the beautiful surroundings of the resort. You will also be introduced to a Chef for a culinary extravaganza, where you will be taken by surprise how the finest spices of Asia can bring together in a non-other than a delicate and mouthwatering dish of Sri Lankan cuisine. Today you will learn to cook a traditional Sri Lankan meal which you will be having for your lunch.
Relax the evening at leisure and you will be taken on a walking trek to spot the Lawris, an endemic species to Sri Lanka and to the area.

Dinner and overnight stay in Sigiriya.

After breakfast at the luxury resort, check out and proceed to Sigiriya, hike the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Sigiriya, a 5th Century “Fortress in the Sky”, or in other words “Single Wonder of the Island”. It is also known as Lion Rock because of the huge lion that used to stand at the entrance to the Palace summit of the 600-foot high rock. On its very summit is the foundation of the Royal Palace, Water Tanks to supply water and all other buildings and at the edges the guardhouses. You will also get to enjoy the breathtaking view of the famous Sigiriya Frescoes of 21 life sized damsels still shining in their original colors. The water gardens, fountain gardens, summer houses, boulder gardens and the caves within the enclosed area should not be missed.
Arrive at Negombo, check in at the hotel and relax by the pool or beach.

Dinner and overnight stay will be in Walawwa, Minuwangoda.
