Having arrived in Sri Lanka you will be greeted by both our Travel Design representative and your chauffeur guide at the airport. Take a leisurely drive to Colombo and check in to your hotel.

Overnight stay Ramada, Colombo

After breakfast proceed to visit Colombo city. Formerly the capital of Sri Lanka, Colombo remains the commercial hub of the Island. Situated on the West Coast of the Island, Colombo has one of the largest artificial harbors in the world and is a principal port of the Indian Ocean. Colombo is a vibrant city with plenty to see and do. If shopping is in your agenda, this is the best place to get it done. Return and stay at leisure for the remainder of the day.
Overnight stay at Ramada, Hotel.

After breakfast proceed to Kandy. Arrive & Check in to the hotel. Proceed to visit Kandy City and Temple of Tooth (optional) in the evening. The Kandy Temple, which houses the famous tooth relic of the Buddha is the star attraction of the city. Puja ceremonies (Thevava) are held every morning, noon and evening to honor the relic. Visitors may view the casket where the sacred tooth relic is held within the chamber during these times. Observing these ritualistic proceedings to the accompaniment of traditional drums is a must for any traveler to the sacred city of Kandy.
Dinner & Overnight stay at Mountbatten Bungalow, Kandy

Early morning check out from the hotel with breakfast packets and proceed to Panvila. Start trekking knuckles from Panvila and descending from Thangappuwa. A trekking expedition within the Knuckles Range where we traverse tea plantations and forests to summit the highest point of the knuckles range. It is a beautiful and challenging hike that takes you through different
elevations exposing you to different flora and fauna unique to this region. It is well worth the effortTransfer to the Camping site from the decending location.

Dinner & Overnight stay at Wild Glamping, Knuckles

Early morning proceed to hike Knuckles with lunch packets. Trod along a comfortable and gentle downhill trail that takes you to the rural village of “Heel Oya” at the foothills of the Knuckles which is still unscathed by mass tourism. Make your way through tea estates, pine forests, terraced paddy fields, waterways, misty hills and several viewpoints that is sure to revive the poet inside you. Experience the authentic Sri Lankan lifestyle of locals, learn traditional paddy cultivation and farming methods while observing how certain spices are handmade. On your way back to the campsite, treat yourself with a refreshing dip in the cooling waterhole.. Return to the Campsite and enjoy a Cookery demonstration.

After breakfast check out and proceed to Nanu Oya railway station to take the train to Ohiya. Your driver will meet you at Ohiya Railway Station to take you on to your hotel.

Dinner & Overnight stay at Hill Safari Eco Lodge, Ohiya.

After breakfast checkout from the hotel and proceed to visit Horton Plains National Park (8km trek). Arrive at the bungalow.

After an early breakfast proceed to trek Kirigalpotha. Return to the bungalow.

Early morning check out from the bungalow with picnic breakfast packets to trek worlds end located at Horton Plains National Park. The national park is a protected area in the central highlands of Sri Lanka and is covered by montane grassland and cloud forest. This plateau at an altitude of 2,100–2,300 metres (6,900–7,500 ft) is rich in biodiversity and many species found here are endemic to the region. This region was designated a national park in 1988. It is also a popular tourist destination and is situated 35 kilometres from Nuwara Eliya. Transfer to Nallathanniya. Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel at Slightly Chilled, Ohiya

Early mornig start climbing Adam’s peak. Leave at 4 am with picnic breakfast packets. Sri Pada is a 2,243 metres (7,359 ft) tall conical mountain located in central Sri Lanka. It is well known for the Sri Pada “sacred footprint”, a 1.8 metres (5 ft 11 in) rock formation near the summit, in Buddhist tradition it is held to be the footprint of the Buddha, in Hindu tradition that of Shiva and in Muslim and Christian tradition that of Adam. Leave at 8 am for climbing down towards Rathnapura. Proceed to trek Kuruwita Trail. Transfer to the hotel.

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Colombo.
